Kabul (BNA) Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met with the UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy, Jan Kubis and the US Ambassador to Afghanistan, James Cunningham the other day, President Press Office said in a statement. Presidential press office said BNA, the meeting was held at the Presidential Palace, where both the UN Special Envoy and the US Ambassador updated President Karzai on the recent developments in the electoral process, the statement added.
Mr. Kubis said that some technical aspects of the process were yet to be completed within the coming days, adding that following its completion, the electoral process would conclude eventually, the statement concluded.
