CE Abdullah Leaves For Poland To Attend Warsaw Summit

Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah left for Poland to attend the Warsaw Summit, where the world countries are expected to pledge continuation of cooperation with Afghanistan, the CE Press Office said in a statement. At the meeting expected to be attended by the NATO member countries, the member leaders would promise continuation of cooperation for the future of Afghanistan, including support to the Afghan military and defense forces until 2020, the statement added. The summit, the statement said, was too important for its effort to draw cooperation from the NATO member countries in war on terror and providing support and equipment to the Afghan security forces, particularly to the air-force. The national unity government has made effort for the women empowerment and their partnership in the government, fighting corruption, suppressing terrorism and implementation of big economic projects in the country, the statement added.
