Kabul (BNA) Gifts including a book and two medals awarded to President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, were submitted to the National Olympic Committee, Bakhter News Agency said Sunday.
President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai visited Russia Federation in the official invitation of his counterpart, Vladimir Putin to attend the 22nd Olympics kicked off in Sochi city.
During a ceremony, a book from the 2014 Olympics, a medal of the 2014 Olympic ceremony and another from the Olympics participation were submitted by the presidential palace cadre and personnel chief, Shuja Mohammad Amal to the National Olympic Committee.
