Bamyan (BNA) Following the recent developments in which the sports activities of athletes in Bamyan were suspended, it was resumed yesterday.
According to BNA, Mawlavi Anas Azizi, the governor of Bamyan, who was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of sports activities in that province, said: “Dear athletes do not be disappointed and the recent developments that have stopped sports in the country, now the officials of the Islamic Emirate are trying to resume activities.
He added that exercise is good for physical and mental health and should be supported.
The governor of Bamyan officially inaugurated sports activities in the province by giving the ball to volleyball players.
Ziauddin Bigzad, head of Bamyan of Physical Education Department, also spoke about efforts to support sports and athletes in the province, saying: “Sports bring harmony and empathy and make people healthy.”
