Eng. Mohammad Khan Delighted By Peace Resumption With HIA

Kabul (BNA) Eng. Mohammad Khan, the Chief Executive’s First Deputy on Tuesday expressed deep satisfaction about the long stalled peace deal restart and soon finalization of the process with Hezb-e-Islami Afghanistan (HIA) led by Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, his office said.
According to the statement, the Deputy CE welcomed the World Peace Day (WPD), a time reached, while ‘the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is counting moments for time to arrive to help sign the final process of peace deal with Hezb-e-Islami.’
He asked the international community for unbiased cooperation with the world nations in need of peace and security and advised the world countries and nations they could never reach peace unless to eliminate the heinous obstacles of war faced by the process, the statement said. The statement quoted him as calling successful peace deal with the HIA, a major achievement of the government of national unity, not accessed in the last thirteen years in the country. He called on the Taliban and other warring groups to use the available peace opportunity with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, a move to help strengthen security and stability of the country and play their role like what, the HIA did recently.
