JALALABAD (BNA) late on Friday, police personnel arrested 9 men while collecting precious stones from a mine in Lalpoor district of Nangarhar.
Local security officials of Lalpoor district told Bakhtar News Agency that the security officials arrested these people in Gazdara area of Lalpoor district when they were engagedlved collecting precious stones from a mine in that district.
He said that these people intended to smuggle these precious stones abroad.
The security officials say the detainees are under investigation in the province of Nangarhar.
