Dead Body Of Hamahang Laid To Rest

Kabul (BNA) The coffin of late Ustad Hamahang was laid to rest in Shuhadai Saliheen due to a cemetery yesterday among mourners including family members, friends, relatives, deputy to the ministry for information and culture Ghulam Nabi Farahi, artists, admirers and Kabul citizens.
The message of minister of Information and Culture Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen was also readout by the advisor to the ministry, Jalal Nurani.
In his message Dr. Raheen said that late Ustad Hamahang had served his countrymen around half century through music.
The message also said that late Ustad has strengthened our cultural commonality with the neighboring states through arts.
The late Ustad began music activities from age 11 and since then had 50 songs in national television archive and 300 songs in the archive of national radio.
Ustad Hamahang passed away at the age 70.
