Work Construction of a New Industrial Park Starts in Wardak

KABUL (BNA) The Stone foundation of a new industrial park on 3 acres of land in the Takht Kotal zone of ​​Maidan Wardak was laid down on Thursday in the province.

The new industrial park in Wardak will create thousands of jobs for people, having the capacity to place about 70 factories, say, officials.

Nooruddin Azizi Minister of Industry and Commerce on an occasion while putting the first foundation stone of the park said the Ministry strives to boost domestic production and reach economic self-sufficiency in the country is the main goal of the Ministry.

Inamullah Samangani, Deputy Spokesman said the Islamic Emirate has been holding regular meetings with various domestic and foreign companies for the extraction and processing of gross domestic product, which practical steps will be taken in the near future.

The Maidan Wardak Governor Hafiz Mohammad Ameen Omari, confident of all kinds of assistance to the traders, added that Maidan Wardak province has a lot of raw materials in most parts and this is good news for the industrialists to take advantage of it.

Engineer Sayed Abdul Aziz Qureshi, head of Takht Kotal Industrial Park, said thousands of people would be directly and indirectly employed by the opening of this new industrial park in Maidan Wardak province.

The Islamic Emirate has started efforts to provide investment opportunities for international and domestic investors in various fields for self-sufficiency, thus providing job opportunities to thousands of people in the country.
