Kabul (BNA) Football has quickly developed in recent years and our football players managed to bring gold, silver and bronze medals from competitions in different countries.
In an interview with the deputy chairman of Afghanistan Football Federation Mohammad Yusuf Kargar, talking on the achievements and problems of football, he said in a competition between Simorgh-e-Alborz and Shaheen Asmayee. Simorgh Alborz overcame Shaheen Asmayee team 3-2.
Talking on their future programs, he said we plan to organize competitions of Afghanistan premier teams of Kabul and provinces. Beside those competitions of under aged teams of Afghanistan youth football teams would be organized. He added, one of the basic goals of Afghanistan premier league football team is to select the best players to national football team. They start their exercises in Kabul to be prepare to attend foreign competitions and bring pride and achievements to their country. Fortunately we managed to select the best players. Afghanistan national football team had meeting with Mr. Peter trainer of the team and discussed all issues including preparations for Asian nation cup. The federation will provide all resources to us. Two weeks later we have a game with Malaysian team and in October we have a game with the team of Tajikistan.
