Kandahar City (BNA) The foundation stone of a school building has been put by citizen covenant national program in Panjwaee district, southern Kandahar province the other day.
According to information of citizen covenant national program in ministry of rural rehabilitation and development to BNA, construction work of the projects has been started based on President Ghani’s order in the framework of “Iqra” that to be built 6000 school buildings across the country.
Among 6000 school buildings, 66 school buildings to be constructed in Kandahar province.
Local and education officials in Kandahar expressed that construction of school buildings is an effective step toward elimination of illiteracy and thanked from government leadership.
