President Karzai Receives Diplomatic Credentials Of New Canadian Ambassador

Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai received in a formal ceremony the diplomatic credentials of Glenn Davidson, the new Canadian Ambassador to Afghanistan.
The ceremony was followed by a bilateral meeting that focused on ways to further develop the bilateral relations in different fields between the two countries.
On behalf of the people of Afghanistan, the President thanked for support and assistance provided by the people and government of Canada to Afghanistan in the past years.
Ambassador Glenn Davidson stressed on his country’s continued cooperation with Afghanistan.
In attendance to the ceremony also were Dr. Zalmai Rasul, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Hamid Sediq, the Ministry’s Chief of Protocol.
