Kabul (BNA) First Vice President Amrullah Saleh says that they will not ever go low to enemy standards and will fight as a State with all its internal & external responsibilities.
“In pursuance of our security aims we won’t ever go low to enemy standards, won’t ever divert resources & sacrifice development projects, uphold our international commitments, we will fight as a State with all its internal & external responsibilities, will always stand 4 values & rights,” he tweeted yesterday after meeting with Ambassador and head of delegation of EU in Afghanistan. First VP Saleh appreciated EU’s value-centered position & stand in defending of rights & values in Afghanistan. He discussed the overall security situation, govt’s current & future measures for improving political situation & strategic enhancement of security and stability in the country, a statement from his press office said yesterday.
“European Union Heads of Missions meeting with @AmrullahSaleh2 on the current security situation, the phenomenon of #militia development and how to best continue supporting public safety in #Afghanistan,” Ambassador Von Brandt tweeted.
This comes as in a Facebook post, VP Saleh reacted to recent collapse of the districts in different provinces, saying that the group had progressed with drawing a narrow line, adding that those fighting Taliban better knows that such lines would turn to the biggest graveyard for the terrorist group.
