Kabul (BNA) With the construction of two irrigation canals in Taloqan city, the center of Takhar, the necessary water was supplied to nearly one thousand eight hundred hectares of farmers.
The canals were built at a cost of more than 80 million Afghanis by the Asian Development Bank.
Takhar Media Office says in a newsletter that with the construction of these canals, about 1,800 hectares of farmers’ land will be irrigated.
The peasants expressed satisfaction with the construction of these canals and called it a boost to their cultivation.
