Urban Development and Housing Ministry Seeks Agha Khan Foundation’s Support for Returnees

KABUL (BNA): The Acting Minister of Urban Development and Housing, Sheikh Hamdullah Numani, has requested the Agha Khan Foundation’s collaboration in constructing housing facilities for returnees.

This request was made during a meeting with Rahat Big, the head of the habitat program of the Agha Khan Foundation.

The meeting focused on coordinating the foundation’s projects with the activities of the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing. They also discussed the foundation’s cooperation in providing housing and addressing the concerns of returnees.

Rahat Big expressed gratitude for the ongoing collaboration of the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing and other officials in the implementation of the foundation’s projects in Afghanistan.

The two sides agreed to cooperate in solving challenges and issues related to the foundation’s activities in the country.

Sheikh Hamdullah Numani assured that necessary cooperation would be provided to resolve issues in coordinating Agha Khan Foundation projects in Afghanistan.

He also appreciated the foundation’s efforts in providing shelter and services for the returnees.

The Ministry of Urban Development and Housing is committed to working with the Agha Khan Foundation to improve the living conditions of returnees in the country.
