Faizabad City (BNA) Five insurgents were killed and some others were wounded when they attacked on Shahiday district of northern Badakhshan province this morning.
Massoud Rashid in-charge of press office in security command of Badakhshan told BNA, the Taliban militants faced with full resistance of Afghan security forces in the attack.
The clashes between armed rebels and Afghan security personnel ended and the bodies of insurgents remained at the battlefield.
There were no any damages to up-risers people in the incident, Rashid added.
