Minister Hakimi meets Chinese Charge Affairs

Kabul (BNA) Minister of Finance EklilHakimi, met Zhang Zhixin, Charge affairs of People’s Republic of China Embassy to Afghanistan here the other day, the ministry said in a statement.
In this meeting both sides discussed holding of the Third Joint Economic and trade Commission between the two countries, Enhancing Bilateral Cooperation, Afghanistan’s membership in Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), projects jointly funded by Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and Asian Development Bank (ADB), Five countries railway( Afghanistan, Iran, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and China), Regional Cooperation, Customs Information Exchange, Transmission of gas from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan and through Afghanistan to China, Beijing trade Center, Optical fiber, China’s investment in cotton and cement, Dry ports, cooperation in transit, Transportation and energy.
The two sides also discussed Peace process, Management of water resources, treatment of children with heart disease, educational programs in the fields of health, agriculture and diplomacy for Government employees and other issues of interest, the statement concluded.
