59 Taliban killed

Kabul (BNA) 59 armed Taliban were killed in clashes carried out by Afghan and Coalition forces.
Interior ministry press office said BNA, the Afghan and coalition forces in last 24 hours conducted several combined operations in the outskirts of Kandahar, Zabul, Kapisa, Maidan-Warda, Ghazni , Paktika, Pakktia and Helmand provinces as a result of which 59 armed Taliban were killed, 8 wounded and 17 others were arrested.
Huge quantity of heavy and light weapons and 8 kg of narcotic were seized.
According to another report, the national police personnel of Kabul security commandment arrested four persons on charges of crimes.
The arrested persons were arrested on charges of rubbery and selling of narcotic which were arrested by police from 11th, 17th precincts of Kabul city.
