2500 Families Benefit Khalifa Bin Zayed’s Humanitarian Assistance

Kabul (BNA) Nearly 2500 families which were affected by the recent earthquakes, benefited from United Arabic Emirate’s Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan relief items in the provincial capital, Asadabad, and the Chawki district of the Kunar province. The assistance which was distributed by the Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan charity organization included fifty kilo of flour, ten kilo of oil, ten kilo of sugar, ten kilo of bean and four blankets to each of the affected families. Speaking in distribution ceremony, the charge de affairs for UAE embassy in Afghanistan while thanking the local organs, Kunar governor and the provincial MP for their cooperation in making the project successful, added that the UAE’s assistance would also be continued in particular to affected families in other provinces of Afghanistan.
The Kunar governor while appreciating the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan charity organization for its relief assistance to needy families in Afghanistan presented an appreciation letter to the aforesaid organization. The event was also attended by Kunar’s representative to lower house, Ms. Safi, head of Kunar’s provincial council as well as Abdul Haseeb Sayedkhel, the police chief of the said province.
