Kabul (BNA) In a clearing operation by security and defense forces, 30 armed Taliban, including 16 members of al-Qaeda, were killed last night in Najrab Kapisa.
Fawad Aman, Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, told BNA that in continuation of joint clearing operation of defense and security forces with the support of special commandos and air forces launched in outskirt of Dara-e-Afghaniai in Nejrab district of Kapisa, 30 Taliban terrorists including sixteen Pakistani members of al-Qaeda were killed and six others were wounded.
Also in this operation, a large amount of weapons and ammunition of the enemy have been destroyed and Hajiyan, Khalifa Gan, Zakir Khel Kuchak and Badakhil villages of Dara-e-Afghania have been cleared from the enemy.
Operations in the area are still ongoing, Aman said.
