Mullah Baradar Released, But Not Submitted To Afghan Govt. Pak Media

Kabul (BNA) Pakistan media has declared Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar was released yesterday.
Afghanistan high peace council welcomed releasing of Mullah Baradar from Pakistan prison. Pakistan media quoting advisor to Pakistan Prime Minister in national security and foreign affairs said Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar not to be submitted to Afghanistan government because after releasing, he would choose wherever he wants to live in Pakistan or Saudi Arabia.
Afghanistan government has also welcomed Pakistan’s step in this regard.
Emal Faizi, a spokesman to president Karzai has said they believed the step would strengthen peace process in Afghanistan. HPC secretary Aminuddin Muzafari told BNA, “We welcome releasing of Mullah Baradar from Pakistan prison, adding the releasing belongs to Mullah Baradar whether he lives in Afghanistan or elsewhere.
The key point is how he cooperates with peace process in the country.” He further said HPC hoped Mullah Baradar could play key role in peace process in Afghanistan.
