Kabul (BNA) Based on defense ministry’s proposal and presidential decree, seven keys of residential apartments were given to Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) martyrs’ families, the presidential palace said in a statement on Monday.
In a ceremony held at the presidential palace and attended by ministers of defense, interior and urban development, the decree of residential apartments’ donation was read out by the presidential cultural advisor Asadullah Ghazanfar, during which the president donated the keys of seven residential apartments to ANDSF martyrs’ families, according to the statement.
Lauding bravery and sacrifices of the Afghan security forces, the president said the martyrs’ precious services would be written with golden lines, the statement added.
According to martyrs’ families, the president said we could not retaliate what your sons have done, the ANDSF forces are like my sons and I have always stressed that the martyrs families’ problems should be addressed at its earliest, the statement continued.
Representing others, Wali Mohammad Abdaini appreciated the president’s sympathy and said this homeland’s sons were being sacrificed to defend their soil and people and Afghanistan has right on all of us, the statement added.
Minister of urban development Sayed Saadat Mansour Naderi said a part of the residential apartments have been allocated to ANDSF martyrs’ families, adding we are making effort to do our Islamic responsibility and there is a good coordination existed between his ministry and security entities.
