Qalat (BNA) Fourteen Taliban insurgents were killed in a clash by security troops in Zabul.
The clashes took place last night after Taliban attack on two checkpoints and a convoy carrying troops in the Shamalzai and Shahr-e-Safa districts.
Senior Atal Army Corps official in south of the country told BNA that 14 militants had been killed in the clashes.
According to reports, the attackers were targeted from ground and air attack forces when they attacked military bases and convoys.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
