CM Instructs Ministries To Finalize Chabahar Port Establishments

Kabul (BNA) President Karzai chaired the plenary session of the council of ministers at the presidential palace yesterday.
To start with, President Karzai informed the cabinet about the results of his visit to India during which he was honored by giving a honorary doctorate degree by the LPU University in a special ceremony which was accepted with great appreciation.
Alongside the visit, the president informed the cabinet about the results of his visit and his meetings with president and prime minister and other Indian authorities and added that in those meeting issues pertaining to Afghanistan, bilateral ties, regional issues and the presence of international forces after 2014 and its impacts on Afghanistan and the region were discussed.  Meanwhile he praised peaceful and sincere ties between the two nations in recent years especially the cooperation of the Indian government in the recent years and the Indian leaders reciprocally assured Afghanistan of their cooperation in different spheres as well.
The council of ministers (CM) then strongly condemned the Friday (3rd of Jawza) terrorist attack on the IOM offices in Kabul as a result of which some countrymen were martyred and wounded and instructed the ministry of interior affairs and national security department to try to recognize the perpetrators of this attack and punish them legally.
The charter of Baghlan Sugar Company aiming to encourage farmers to cultivate beet to meet the requirements of the factory approved.
The CM ordered the ministries of commerce and industries and agriculture and irrigation to undertake specific measures for marketing of agricultural products and implement the decision no. 39 dated 4/10/1391 of the CM on establishment of port structures in Cha Bahar of Islamic Republic of Iran with the assistance of Indian government and also take step towards activation of the transport network and transit of trade from that port as it is very important for the people and the government of Afghanistan and it is a priority of the Afghan government.  The CM also instructed the ministries of finance and commerce and industries to finalize issues pertaining to the Cha Bahar transit port with Iranian in order to transport export and imported goods from that port which is very necessary.
Then, the minister of commerce and industries raised the demands for consisting importing different raw materials and other necessary needs of oil refinery factories of Ghaznafar and KAM oil companies.
The CM after deeply discussing the issue approved the importing of the materials for those factories; and assigned the ministry of commerce and industries to supervise the imported materials to those factories and  try that the raw materials extracted in the country should be utilized in domestic factories and assigned the national standard department so supervise the quality of products of those factories on permanent basis.
Then, the national partnership of cadres at  Takhar province leadership and the districts of that province raised at the meeting and according to administrative and secretariat of council of ministers department consider the composition un-fair and assigned the relevant state organs to settle the  problem according to the national unity which is a most for the interest of Afghan people. 
The administration affairs and secretariat of CM, independent administrative reforms commission and civil services and the local organs department were assigned by the CM to review national participation of leading body of Takhar and other provinces in the country and present its report to the Presidential Office.
At the end, three international agreements were presented to the CM by Minister of Foreign Affairs as follow which was confirmed by the council of ministers as follow:
1- A cooperation agreement between Ministry of Education of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the embassy of Saudi Arabia to Kabul.
2- Understanding cooperation between sciences academy of Afghanistan and the national academy of science of India.
3 -Cooperation program between Diplomatic Institute of Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and training diplomatic Institute of Saudi Arabia.
