Kabul (BNA) Presidential advisor on National Security, Mohammad Hanif Atmar has said that overcoming security challenges requires joint struggle, he made the remarks in meeting with Wasf Yusuf Aal-Ali the ambassador of United Arab Emirates to Afghanistan here yesterday.
In the meeting, the UAE ambassador, besides condemning the recent terrorist attacks which claimed scores of lives, also expressed sympathy with the families of the victims.
UAE in addition to supporting Afghanistan government efforts for peace would also back the peace process, the ambassador assured.
The ambassador also stated that his country would provide more facilities for Afghan businessmen to invest in UAE.
Expressing gratitude to UAE over its role for bolstering peace and economic development in Afghanistan, presidential advisor, Atmar noted the Islamic world especially Arab countries have important responsibility in fighting terrorism and that Afghanistan government expects more coordination and joint efforts to overcome security threats.
