KABUL (BNA): The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has reported a contribution of $1.7 million from Switzerland to Afghanistan for the current year.
This announcement was made via OCHA’s official X handle.
The organization highlighted that the donated funds have been allocated to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund. Prior to this, Switzerland had also made a contribution of $1.9 million to the same fund.
According to OCHA, Switzerland’s cumulative donations to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund since 2016 amount to $19.7 million.
