Kabul (BNA) Ahmad Zia Massoud, President’s Special Representative on Reforms and Good Governance in a meeting held yesterday reviewed the power problems of the industrialists, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.
In the meeting, Head of Breshna Company, Qudratullah Delawari briefed Zia Massoud and other participants on his company’s problems, BNA added. He also added that fluctuations in Afghani currency against dollar in the current year and monthly paying of $20mln to electricity provider countries have caused us to increase the power supply price, BNA added. Calling supporting industrialists a need, Massoud said that considering industrialists’ competition in the region and efforts of the neighboring countries to prevent investment in Afghanistan, industrialists’ problems should be solved in its earliest, BNA further said. At the end, Massoud tasked the Breshna Company to hold an exclusive meeting with management deletion of the company to find a way to decrease the power supply price.
