NSA Chairs Security Sector Session

Kabul (BNA) Presided over by presidential National Security Advisor (NSA) Hanif Atmar, the security session was held on Monday, NSA office said in a statement.
Presenting a report on security situation of Kabul, Helmand, Kunduz, Uruzgan, Farah, Baghlan, Faryab, Sar-e-Pul, Jauzjan, the security and defense sector ministers lauded the bravery and eligibility of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) against enemies according to the statement.
The security sector leadership issued necessary instructions to foil threats, the statement added.
Furthermore, the general commander of garrison presented a report on Kabul security plan improvement and the meeting tasked the subordinate organs to practice their plans on strategic, operative and technical levels to better ensure security in Kabul and related districts, the statement continued.
The security sector leadership also discussed personnel and units replacement from center to provinces and vice versa and instructed the security and defense entities to assess their policies and plans in this regard and identify all challenges and deficiencies and arrange a joint policy and present it to national security council for approval, the statement.
