Kabul (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Zalmai Rassoul met with His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, on the sidelines of the 11th Asian cooperation Dialogue ministerial meeting in Dushanbe on the other day.
Both sides discussed the bilateral relationship and underlined the two government’s desire and commitment to expand contacts and cooperation in all areas between the two countries.
H.E. Sheikh Al-Sabah informed Dr. Rassoul about the Kuwaiti government’s decision to open an embassy in Kabul in the near future, Dr. Rassoul warmly welcomed the decision and said the opening of Kuwait’s resident embassy in Kabul will play an important role in bringing the two Muslim, brother countries together.
