Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met with Asian Football Confederation (AFC) deputy at the Sapidar Palace yesterday, his office said in a statement.
In the meeting, expressing glad to have met with CE Abdullah, Ali Kafashian briefed about his trips goals to Kabul, according to the statement, AFC’s deputy said political interference in football should be prevented, the statement further said.
CE Abdullah assured the AFC’s deputy he would not allow anyone to disturb sport entities particularly Afghanistan’s Football Federation, the statement added.
It is merit to mention that the AFC’s delegation visit to Kabul aims to evaluate Afghanistan’s Football Federation and the reasons behind delay in holding its elections. After ending the evaluation process, the delegation would present its report to AFC.
