Kabul (BNA) The military occupation of Afghanistan by the former Soviet Union and its Red Army I 6th Jadi 1358 or 27th December 1979 was strongly condemned yesterday.
In a meeting organized by the Buniad Azadagan Islami Afghanistan in the conference hall of the ministry for information and culture, the speakers condemned the invasion.
Abdul Hadi Arghandiwal the minister for economy, well known philosopher Mohammad Sediq Afghan, Anayatullah Shadab and head of Afghan Red Crescent society Fatana Giliani in their speeches besides denouncing the invasion called for unity among the Afghans.
The also noted that the reason for defeating the ex-former Soviet Union was Mujahidin believe in God and strong resistance of Afghanistan nation.
