Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in a statement has congratulated re-election of Dr. Hassan Rouhani as the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
“Afghanistan and Iran are two neighboring and brother countries and have common religion, culture and language as well as have good and historic relations which have considerably expanded and improved during your four years presidential period”, the statement said. The country’s Chief Executive hoped that good relations between the two countries would further improve and expand in counter terrorism, economic cooperation.
