Commander Of Taliban Group Killed

Sar-i-Pul (BNA) Nine armed Taliban including head of nominated commission of that group were killed in Sar-i-Pul province, local authorities said.
Abdul Jabar Haqbeen governor of Sar-i-Pul told this news agency, Nik Mohammad head of nominated commission of Taliban along with his eight members were killed in an operation of Afghan and NATO forces in Shereem area at 15 Km distance from the center of Sar-i-Pul province last night.
He added, among the killed persons, five Pakistani Taliban were included which they had plan to perform terrorist attacks.
Nine different types of weapons have been seized in this operation, said the source.
The governor said, these people were a threat for security of Jauzjan-Sur-i-Pul highway and transportation road of Sozma Qala with the center of Sur-i-Pul.
With the killing of these rebels, the risk has been solved.
