27 Nominees Register For Presidential Elections

Kabul (BNA) Independent Elections Commission (IEC) of Afghanistan says that the number of people who have candidate for upcoming presidential elections reaches to 27.
They say 27 people have registered for the upcoming elections.
The process of registration of candidates for presidential and provincial councils’ elections began on September 16th of current year.
The in-charges of elections commission have said that the registration process of presidential nominees would end in 4 pm of October 7th but the registration process of those who were present at the commission has continued till the midnight of the same day.
Bismellah Shir, Abudllah Abdullah, Fazal Karim Najmi, Abdurrab Rasoul Sayyaf, Hashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, Qutbuddin Helal, Abdul Rahim Wardak, Del Aqa Kohdamani, Sarwar Ahmadzai, Hashmat Ghzani Ahmadzai, Zalmai Rasoul, Mohammad Nadir Naim, Hamidullah Qaderi, Qayoum Karzai, Daud Sultanzoi, Gul Aqa Shirzoi, Salman Ali Dost Zada, Azizullah Ludin, Anwarulaq Ahadi, Hedayatullah Amin Arsala, Farouq Aazam, Nadir Shah Ahmadzai, Khadija Ghaznvi, Abdul Hadi Dabir, Noorurrahman Liwal and Ahmad Dawar Kessanee are those who registered their names for upcoming presidential elections.
At the same time, the spokesman of IEC says that the investigation of the cases related to the candidates has begun.
According to him, the primary list of nominees for presidential and provincial councils’ elections to be published on October 19th.
Likewise, head of directorate of IEC Zia-ul-Haq Ahmarkhel Evaluated successful the registration process of presidential and provincial councils’ elections nominees.
Amarkhail added that there is no security problem for registration of provincial councils’ elections nominees.
He emphasized that 2360 people 273 of them are women have registered their names to contest in upcoming provincial councils’ elections.
The people say, they expect the candidates for presidential and provincial councils’ elections if succeeded to fulfill their commitments and to provide necessary facilities for improvement the lives of people and bring necessary positive changes in all fields.
They say that the IEC should provide the opportunity for people so they can cast their ballots in the boxes of the candidate who favored.
Likewise, the programs of candidates should be specified for the awareness of people so with comprehending from the program of presidential nominees, the people to cast their votes in the benefit of the candidate they considered.
A resident of Kabul city, Waheeda says the candidates of presidential post didn’t proclaim their certain programs for people so far, so the people of Afghanistan expect from candidates to aware people about their programs in connection with living conditions, maintenance security, economic growth, improvement of social situation.
She added that the people without knowing about the nominees programs, it would difficult for them to cast their ballot cards into a favor of a candidate.
The presidential and provincial councils’ elections would be held on April 5th 2014.
