Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani conferred government medals to Lt. Gen. Giles Hill, Deputy Commander of the Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan as well as to Abdullah Amini and Mureed Subat, the two command advisers, a presidential palace statement said.
At the outset, Fatemah Morchal, deputy Presidential Spokeswoman, readout President Ghani’s decrees in this regard.
After awarding the medals, President Ghani thanked and praised the efforts and valuable services of Lt. Gen. Giles Hill, Deputy Commander of the Resolute Support Mission, and the command’s two advisers for their strategic support of the Afghan security and defense forces, ANA training, as well as coordination with the forces.
On the other hand, the officials described the Resolute Support Mission as a good experience working with the security and defense forces and their mission in Afghanistan and thanked the President for awarding the medals.
