Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani congratulated Islam Karimov, the President of Uzbekistan over his reelection, a statement released by Arg here on Tuesday said.
In the message, President Ghani, besides wishing success for the brotherly and neighborly people of Uzbekistan, hoped for farther getting closer of Afghanistan and Uzbekistan relations under the leadership of President Karimov. According to another report, President Ghani phoned Khadimul Haramain Al-Sharifain His Majesty Malik Salman the ruler of Saudi Arabia the other day and exchanged views on bilateral relations as well as the situation in the region and the world.
