Kabul (BNA) Eklil Hakimi, Minister of Finance, met yesterday with Pierre Mayaudon, Ambassador of European Union to Afghanistan.
In the meeting, the both sides discussed preparation of Afghan Government for Geneva Conference that is likely to take place by the end of this year, effectiveness of EU’s aid to the country and expressed its rigorous support to infrastructure and railway sector.
Additionally, both sides reiterated the importance of overall railway project in the country, reforms in revenue resources, the new strategy for customs reform and other relevant issues.
