President Karzai, Atambayev Emphasize On Bilateral Ties

Kabul (BNAS) President Hamid Karzai in his first day of visit to Kyrgyzstan met with President Almazbek Atmabayev in Bishkek, capital of that country.
At the meeting they exchanged views on the relation of bilateral cooperation and building of expansion of transport ways and railway between the two nations and regional countries.
The President of Kyrgyzstan welcomed President Karzai and said that his country is willing expansion of ties with Afghanistan and for this purpose inaugurated its embassy in Kabul recently.
He added that land routes for linking the regional countries and expansion of trade and economy between them are important. 
He proposed linking of China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Iran through railway line.
Welcoming this proposal of the President Atambayev, President Karzai said that Afghanistan is a landlocked nation should improve its transport means through railways and roads.
At this meeting President Karzai invited the President of Kyrgyzstan to visit Afghanistan in an appropriate time which was accepted by him with thanks.
