Conference of Asian Countries Cultural Ministers Opened In Tehran

Kabul (BNA) The conference of the cultural ministers of the Asian countries titled Association of Talks for Asian Cooperation was opened in Tehran on Wednesday with the opening remarks of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, BNA reported.
In this address, the Iranian president described Asia as the cradle of human civilization and emphasized for understanding among the Asian nations. 
Afghanistan’s Minister of Information and culture Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen in his address at the conference highlighted the role of Afghanistan in the field of civilians in Asia over the past 2000 years, saying Afghanistan has played important role in transferring different culture. 
In this regard he added that Ghazni’s role was significant in the promotion and transferring of culture.
Dr. Raheen also invited the ministers sin the conference to attend the ceremony of Ghazni as cultural capital of Islam, to be held in November 2013 in Kabul and Ghazni.
