Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani spoke to the governors, police chiefs and members of the security and defense forces of all the provinces via video conference here yesterday, a presidential statement said.
The President appreciated the joint work as well as the cooperation and coordination between civilian and military institutions at the provincial level, and stressed the need for greater coordination and joint efforts between the mentioned institutions, the statement further said.
The governors and security and defense officials reassured the president that they would provide security for their respective provinces and use the support of the people from the security and defense forces in different parts of the country, according to the statement.
