KABUL (BNA) The Acting Finance Minister Mullah Hidayatullah Badri visited Kajaki Dam, on Thursday.
Minister Badri, while several government officials, local tribal, scholars and the Turkish company that invested on hydropower dam visited the Kajaki, said a statement by the Finance Ministry.
The Finance Minister praising the company’s investment asked the company to invest in other sectors in Afghanistan.
Better opportunities provided for investment in Afghanistan and there is no security tensions now, he added.
The Kajaki dam is located in the southern Helmand province of the country and can produce 2 billion cubic meters of water and 150 megawatts of electricity.
