Kabul (BNA) During the last 24 hours security forces launched a joint clearing operations, arrested four armed rebels.
According to Ministry of Interior press office to BNA, the operations launched with cooperation of National army forces and National Security Directorate forces for cleansing the insecure areas from existence of insurgents in relevant areas of Nangarhar, Kapisa, Zabul and Farah provinces.
Some military equipment, explosive materials and 35 kg narcotic drugs have been seized by police forces in the operations.
National police forces also discovered and neutralized 6 mines in relevant areas of Urozgan and Nangarhar provinces.
The mines recently planted by armed rebels for destructive and terrorist activities.
