“Afghanistan Will Never Return To Status Of Past 11 Years”: President Karzai

Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai met with Mrs. Hillary Clinton US Secretary of State in New York. 
At this meeting they discussed process of peace of Afghanistan, attacks on foreign troops and transition of the remaining prisoners at the Bagram to the Afghan side. 
The US State Secretary expressed the hope that talks and current peace process efforts in Afghanistan bring about positive results. 
Mrs. Clonton said that she will continue her joint efforts with Pakistan towards restoration of peace in Afghanistan so that the armed opposition of the government is prepared for talks. 
President Karzai touching at some media reports in the West and political circles in respect to the future of Afghanistan said that incorrect reports re published in the West that may lay bad impacts on the minds of the public in Afghanistan and these may overshadow the achievements of the past ten years. 
Hamid Karzai said that Afghanistan in the past 11 years has considerable achievements and assured that she will never return to the status of the past 11 years. 
Mrs. Clinton said that Afghanistan has considerable progress in the past eleven years and now it has to take bold steps to further deepen the achievements of the past years.
