Kabul (BNA) Chaired by National Security Advisor Mohammad Hanif Atmar, a meeting of security sector leading was held yesterday.
In the meeting national security advisor briefed related to visit of Afghan delegation to Pakistan and considered the visit as significant.
Afterwards, officials for defense and security organs spoke related to overall security situations of Faryab, Urozgan, Farah and Ghazni provinces and briefed related to a plan that has been prepared for maintaining security in the respective provinces and providing supplies and equipment to the country’s defense and security forces.
After hearing reports and briefings presented by defense and security officials, national security advisor instructed relevant security officials to specify needs of the Afghan defense and security forces in provinces and take urgent steps in this regard.
In the meeting, Independent Governance for Local Organs was tasked to accelerate services to the people in all districts and take urgent step in this regard.
