Kabul (BNA) A joint security meeting led by First Vice President Mohammad Younus Qanooni was held yesterday afternoon at Gul Khana Palace, quoting the presidential press office, BNA reports that at the beginning of this meeting, appreciating the all sided efforts of ISAF commander Gen. Danford for creation, improvement and equipping of Afghan Air Forces, First Vice President added that our people and officials of ANSF consider this issue as an effective step in self-sufficiency and access to potential capacities that enable them to resist against the enemies of their land. Qanooni said, “The enemies of Afghan people have been defeated strategically and this is a big victory to our security forces and it’s better that all security forces coordinate their efforts in the direction of fighting enemies and ensuring security and stability in the country.
In this meeting the officials of MoD, MoI and NDS presented their reports on security situation in the country that their details and controversial issues were comprehensively assessed and discussed. Based on these reports, all efforts of enemies who had been trying to occupy some parts in some provinces were doomed to failure and our security forces have foiled all their plots with high morals and bravery. In the meeting, special measures were adopted for improving the security situations in the country.
