Kabul (BNA) Police said Saturday it had started serious investigation into what it said a nefarious act by a husband who cut his wife nose and lips during a verbal disputes in western Herat province.
The Ministry of Interior in a statement said a husband, Azim who is also a drug addict angered over his wife during a verbal clash in Isteqlal Street, Enjil district of the province, where he amputated nose and lips of his wife.
The ministry tasked the related police officials to launch serious investigation into the case and bring the culprits to justice.
