Maimana City (BNA) Two commander of Taliban militants were killed during clashes with Afghan security troops in northern Faryab province yesterday.
Col. Nasratullah Jamshidi in-charge of publication in 209 Shaheen army corps told BNA reporter, the clashes took place among Taliban militants and Afghan security personnel in Abgarmak area, Ghormach district of the province, in which two commanders of the terrorist group were killed and four other rebels were wounded.
According to another report, Afghan security forces succeeded to discover and defuse a round of mine that had been planted by enemies of the country in relevant areas of Almar district of Faryab province.
