Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai strongly condemned the terrorist attack in which a religious scholar and member of the high peace council, Mawlawi Arsala Rehmani was martyred.
The enemies of the people of Afghanistan, in a terrorist attack yesterday morning; near the Kabul University in Deh Buri Square has martyred Mawlawi Arsala Rehmani.
President Karzai condemning this unmanly terrorist wild attack said that Mawlawi Arsala Rehmani has been a religious scholar, Mujahid, tribal leader, political personality and a peaceable person that finally has been martyred.
He added that by martyrdom of Mawlawi Rehmani the enemies of the people of Afghanistan once again showed that they fear restoration of peace and they are always attacking those who want building of the country and peace for this country and are working for the welfare of this nation.
He added that the enemies should know that every national of this country wants peace restoration and progress of their country and that there are many like Mawlawi Rehmani who all for peace and followers of this path.
President Karzai strongly advised the security organs of the country to find out the killers of Mawlawi Rehmani and punish them legally. President Karzai conveyed his sympathies to the family of Mawlawi Rehami and wished peace for his soul.
