Khalili Receives Kapisa Elders

Kabul (BNA) The second vice president Mohammad Karim Khalili received a delegation of elders and celebrities of Kapisa province yesterday, BNA reported.
During the meeting, first Kapisa governor Mehrabudin Safi briefed the vice president on the security situation and reconstruction process, saying the national security forces have ensured security there in Kapisa.
There were also tremendous achievements in the field of education and children attend school in all the districts of Kapisa, governor Safi added.
Meantime, the governor complained of the flooding level of Panjshir River which is threatening agricultural lands and part of Al-Biruni University; ask the central government to take necessary steps to overcome this fatal threat.
In his part, the vice president besides emphasizing for more harmony among the government bodies also expressed satisfaction over the progress have been made in Kapisa.
He also promised that the governor would take necessary steps to check damages caused the public and private properties by Panjshir River.
