Herat (BNA) Hundreds of armed Taliban attacked on military foundations of Shindand district, Herat province this morning.
According to reports, the assailants attacked on Shindand district bazaar and security forces have tried to push back the attack.
BNA correspondent reported from Shindand district, so far, clashes continue in different parts of Shindand district bazaar among security forces and attackers.
Abdul Raof Ahmadi police spokesman of Herat said BNA; the assisting police forces were dispatched to the site to assist security forces.
So far, the death toll is not known from this event.
