Condolence Message On Badakhshan Catastrophe

Kabul (BNA) Leaders of some countries have offered condolence messages and expressed sympathy with President Hamid Karzai over the natural disaster of landslide that claimed hundreds of lives in Argo district of Badakhshan province on Friday.
Qatar’s Minister of Foreign Affairs telephoned yesterday Afghanistan Minister of Foreign Affairs Zarar Ahmad Osmani extending his country’s condolence on the occasion of casualties triggered by recent floods in Northern provinces and landslide in Argo district of Badakhshan to Afghanistan Minister of Foreign Affairs, showing readiness for any assistances needed to affected families of the incidents.
Expressing gratitude of Qatar’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zarar Ahmad Osmani asserted the government and people of Afghanistan were praising the government of Qatar for expressing sympathy and showing readiness related to assistance to affected families of the country’s recent natural incidents.
Tajikistan President Imam Ali Rahman, Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and president of Iran Dr. Sayed Hassan Rohani also expressed sympathy over the tragic incident and announced their readiness to assist the affected people.
